Silence is not an option regarding the ongoing genocide against the Alawites
Thousands of Alawites and minorities in Syria have been killed by armed terrorist factions under various names, which spread in Syria after 8-12-2024.
The massacres peaked on March 7, 2025, and are still ongoing to this day.
The continued freedom of the perpetrators amid international silence is a stain on the conscience of humanity and a blatant violation of international law.
The massacres have also targeted other minorities in Syria, especially Christians, Murshidis, and Druze.
We appeal to the conscience of humanity and demand an international investigation and accountability for those involved, for justice is a right that does not expire with time.

The painful date of March 7, 2025, will change the face of Syria and the world. From now on, extremism and jihadist takfiri ideologies can no longer be tolerated as before. Under no circumstances can what happened be considered a mere passing event. It is a fully constituted genocide that caused the killing of thousands of Alawites and religious minorities in brutal scenes unlike anything the world has witnessed since the Armenian massacres.
If official authorities around the world do not move to condemn and hold accountable the perpetrators of these heinous crimes, then the honorable and independent human rights defenders everywhere will not remain silent, and the struggle will continue until justice is achieved.
The world today must reinforce the red lines that must not be crossed.
