On March 7, 2025, an armed group stormed the home of a civilian family in the coastal city of Baniyas. They arrested three men, including a father, his son, and their neighbor, under the pretext of investigation. Then they proceeded to execute them on the spot and left their bodies in the street. Two of the victims were run over after their martyrdom by the Public Security forces in a clear video witnessed by the whole world.

My uncle was a kind man, always smiling. He had a small coffee stand near the school to earn a living. He smiled at everyone, had nothing to do with anything, and everyone testified to his kind heart and good manners.
On Friday, March 7, they stormed their house and started asking about weapons. He told them, "I swear I have nothing, I’m just sitting at home with the door closed. I have nothing to do with anything."
They took him and his son Hassan, whose birthday had just been the day before, on Thursday 💔 A university student who had never even seen a weapon in his life.
They also took the neighbor from downstairs who had gone up to seek shelter with them.
They told them, "We’ll interrogate them and bring them back." But they took them and killed them — him and his uncle, the martyr Maytham, who was one of the kindest people — right there on the main road, and left their bodies in the street.
We didn’t find Hassan’s body with them, and we kept hoping he might still be alive.
But unfortunately, a few days later, his brother went and identified his body at the hospital.
They killed them in cold blood, with no mercy. For what crime?
Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

Martyr Ibrahim and Martyr Maysam, a horrific crime against them was documented, where a car driven by members of the Public Security forces was seen running over their bodies after their martyrdom. The video clearly documented the involvement of the Public Security in this brutal crime.
